Hello friend! Could you please teach me how to put images in a wikidata item page? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯰:꯰꯱, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)

Hi @Haoreima:, I don't actually know how to put images into a Wikidata item... I think I'll know how to add images to Wikidata items where there is already an image but not one where there is no image. Regards, --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯹:꯳꯸, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)

Hello pal! Can you see them Meitei script in this link, it's a Google Books link for Meitei Bible:- Meitei Bible Have a look! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯴꯸, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)

@Haoreima: Yep, I can see all the Meitei script on that Google Book :) --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯰, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
Then, I don't why not in wikipedia! I think it's because (as you see, in that Bible, texts can't be copied & pasted), it means those Meitei sentences are actually not texting but just illustration like those pictures. What do you think? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯳, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
@Haoreima: I think that it's to do with the text being a picture, yes. There is support for Meitei text on Android phones, I can read this Wikipedia's text on my phone. I just can't read Meitei text on desktop. Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯵, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
One more disturbance, bro! Please try this:- what about this, e-pao daily news article! http://eyek.e-pao.net/GPM2.asp?src=1..120721.jul21 Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯸, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
@Haoreima: Hmm, I can actually read all the text in that article. Also, it's not a disturbance, I'm happy to help you when I can :) --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯹, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
Are you talking about desktop or mobile in the case of this e-pao news article (not wikipedia article)? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯱, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
@Haoreima: Desktop --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯲, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
Mein Gott! Then, something is wrong, right! From a desktop of a user from United Kingdom can see Meitei script in e-pao article but not in wikipedia article, there's something wrong with wiki, I think so! BTW, it's a matter of worry for us (I mean we, Meiteis) as people of the other parts of the world can't see our script, and that's also in the wiki! Do you have any idea, whom shall we consult or where will it be better to discuss the matter? I think it needs some authorities' attention to be drawn! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯷, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
I'm not sure why I can see the text on that article. It might be something to do with backend fonts (installing fonts on the website)? I'm not quite sure. Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯸, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
As far as I know, e-pao is launched in 1999 and wikipedia in 2001. In fact, e-pao is senior to wikipedia in terms of age. Do you think is there any connection or relevance to this issue? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯱꯱, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)
@Haoreima: I don't think so. I think it could just be due to the way they've set up their websites. --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯱꯲, ꯱꯳ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)

Hey pal! Can I use Google Translate for translating articles from one language to another. By reading the en wiki article for en:Hindi Wikipedia, it seems as machine translation is enabled. Is there any guideline page I can read? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯰:꯱꯳, ꯱꯵ ꯏꯉꯦꯟ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)

Can you tell me? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯱, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
@Haoreima: Whoops, I intended to respond to this and then completely forgot. Sorry.
I personally wouldn't use machine translation for new pages, as there can be lots of errors. I know there are users who have got warned and blocked for creating articles using machine translation. Regards, --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯲, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Another thing I saw in Simple English wikipedia's main page, instead of saying "welcome", it says "Croeso", a Welsh word. Why is it so? Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯵꯷, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
@Haoreima: I can't see a Croeso... Can you email me a screenshot? --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯱, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Of course. Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯲, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
I have a request at the discussion page of the main page of the Wikipedia, please see. Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯲, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
I saw it in mobile version and not in desktop version. Please see it in mobile version. Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯴, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
@Haoreima: I still don't see a Welsh welcome... Also, with the main page request, there should be a consensus before adding and so I'll wait a week at least. --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯷, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
I have sent you the screenshot, but as you know, an email with picture is queued automatically currently but it will be delivered to you very soon. Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯰꯹, ꯱꯸ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
I have found the problem's solution. I saw my language setting was at British English (en-GB) (not Welsh language setting). At that, in mobile version, I saw "Croeso, Haoreima" instead of "Welcome, Haoreima". And not only that, even in the desktop version, in the bottom of every simple English wiki pages, all those sections like Privacy, Cookie statement, about wikipedia, etc. appear in a non English language. But when I changed my language setting from British English to General English or Canadian English, everything gets normal. I think someone in the "Translate-wiki" did something to the British English section. For assurance, you may try and check it for at least once. Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯶:꯳꯷, ꯲꯱ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Ok I've just changed my language preference to British English. And then when I went onto simple.m.wikipedia.org, Croeso did indeed appear, and the donate button says "Cyfranwch" (also in Welsh). I'll bring this up at simple:Wikipedia:Simple talk as an editor there may know more about how that might be happening...--Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯶:꯴꯲, ꯲꯱ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]

Hey pal! I saw something! You became the third most editing user in simple English wikipedia, for the month "June", after User:MathXplore & an anonymous. And another thing, simple:User:Haoreima/sandbox became the most edited page in the simple English wikipedia. Very interesting! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯸:꯴꯳, ꯲꯱ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]

@Ferien: Hello pal! My mni wiki userpage has many pictures, which are in inappropriate sizes when seen from desktop version, but normal in mobile version. Could you please fix the image sizes by editing in my user page? Please make it desktop friendly as well as mobile friendly in the picture sizes! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯰:꯴꯹, ꯲꯳ ꯖꯨꯂꯥꯏ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]

Do you have any knowledge why my simple English sandbox content is being uploaded to Google? Every pictures in my sandbox are found in Google! Oh my god! Can we stop this? Sandbox isn't for public reading! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯳:꯱꯱, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Hi Haoreima, is it just the pictures that are coming up on Google? I think this is normal, as those pictures were uploaded on Wikimedia Commons. Also I'll fix your user page for you now. Regards, --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯵:꯰꯸, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
checkY Done. Haoreima, are the sizes of the pictures good for you? --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯵:꯱꯷, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Actually, please see this:- https://www.google.com/search?q=Haoreima+sandbox&client=ms-android-xiaomi-rev1&hl=en-IN&source=android-browser&prmd=svin&sxsrf=ALeKk01QlnPJ9fkiaTT3D-dewL5RTbmb4w:1629464683363&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiws4D91L_yAhW563MBHZG-BAMQ_AUoA3oECAIQAw&biw=360&bih=540&dpr=2 Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯸:꯳꯶, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Haoreima, you could add __NOINDEX__ to simple:User:Haoreima/sandbox. That may help. Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯱꯸:꯴꯴, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
Where? I mean, in which part? Could you do that for me? Then, I will be ok! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯰꯴, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
And thank you so much for the image size fixation! I like it! Haoreima (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯱:꯰꯴, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
No problem :)
You can just add __NOINDEX__ to the top. --Ferien (ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ) ꯲꯲:꯲꯹, ꯲꯰ ꯑꯒꯁ ꯲꯰꯲꯱ (IST)[ꯄꯥꯎꯈꯨꯝ ꯄꯤꯕ]
